We are seeking a committed and strategic Chairperson to shape our future!
Pride of Place Leeds is a unique, community-led organisation seeking to create safe, accessible and inclusive community spaces for LGBTQ+ people in the Leeds area.
Established since 2020, the organisation has won national awards, secured funding and has strong support from LGBTQ+ communities in the City and from the Council and business community.
About you
The Chairperson would ideally:
- provide strategic leadership
- ensure effective governance, financial oversight and regulatory compliance
- ensure smooth running of the organisation
- act as ambassador and champion
This is a great opportunity to create meaningful change for LGBTQ+ communities in Leeds as well as gain experience in leading a non-profit organisation. You would be working with dedicated people who form the two working committees, Pride of Place Space and Pride of Place Living.
This is a voluntary role and the workload is flexible.

- Mon 5 Oct, 6pm – Q&A video call with some existing members of the board
